I thought that I was seeing a little bit of softness in my 32-64 in the middle of the zoom range. So, I wanted to test it against my 45mm prime to see how big the difference was. Here are the lenses side by side at F/4 in the center of the frame at 300% magnification. The 45 is used mainly when I shoot dark skies otherwise I use the 32-64. I had a 63 for a nano second thinking I needed it for the speed but it turns out the 45 is better suited for my needs.
